2021 Highlights Personal Statement
Devotion, enthusiasm, and persistence have always been prominent features making up my identity both as an athlete and as a student. When I began my journey as a distance runner, I was met by an indescribable feeling of internal success, creating motivation to persevere through miles upon miles of training to reach my desired times. I continue to strive for this as my goals continue to grow and as I find different sources of inspiration for relentless progress in every run. I am ambitious to run and compete at a college level to chase after this feeling for as long as I possibly can.
