Personal Statement
Hello, I'm Sara Puskar. I am a officially a senior!
I've competed in field hockey, gymnastics, soccer and track/field for many years. Track and Field is my main sport and I've competed at the varsity level since 8th grade. I have qualified ten times for the NYS High School championships in both long jump and as part of multiple 4x100 and 4x200 relays. I won a 4th place Federation medal for Indoor Long Jump at Ocean Breeze and a 3rd place Federation medal in my 4x100 relay this year. In field hockey, I have started varsity midfield since my freshman year. Last year, I made second team All-WNY. In 2018, I was named team MVP and elected as Team Captain for my senior 2019 season.
I can run a 100M dash in 12.65 seconds and my long Jump PR is 18-5. I can also drive a golf ball over 200 yards (not always straight!).
As a senior at Orchard Park High School (2017 National Blue Ribbon Award Winner), I am carrying a 93 average with multiple AP courses. My SAT super score is 1180 and I may take again in the fall.
