Being a dual sport athlete taught me the values of teamwork, victories and losses. When making honorable mention for basketball and being a three time GGCL second team all star for track I realized the importance of being on a team. When not making it to state and being placed in fourth I realized how much I loved track and field. Having a loss made me even more determined to win.
My goals for this years track season is to PR and make it to state. I am convinced that I do have what it takes to compete on the college level. I have the work effort, determination, good sportsmanship, leadership and the skills to help me be a better athlete. When it comes to finding the right college I am looking for something that will challenge me athletically and will suit me academically.
