2023 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I have such a passion for this sport and am eager to be a part of a college level team. My 8th grade year I had a very costly spinal surgery where I was unable to compete in dance and track for a whole year, the two things I loved the most. When I got back into track my freshman year I blossomed I had this new found appreciation for what my body was capable of after all those months of rest. I love to see myself grow and I never want to let that drive go. It gives me so much joy and fulfillment to see how far i’ve come from barely being able to walk beginning of freshman year to being a two time state qualifier by my junior year. Being able to continue my journey throughout college would be a dream.
