Hello, I am Alanna Williams currently a sophomore at Martins Ferry High School. My dreams and goals are to attend a University/College where I can achieve academic success while participating on a highly respected track and field team as well as be a vital member of the volleyball and golf teams. I am confident I can be successful in all my endeavors. I have a clear understanding of the hard work and sacrifices that are required to make my dreams a reality. My goals right now are to graduate from high school with Honors and to leave a legacy at my school that people can look up to as a role model. I aspire to major in Aerospace/Software Engineering.
I have self-discipline, and resilience, and perform well under pressure. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates to be the best they can be. I am very coachable and willing to do what it takes to improve and make my team better. I strive to be one of the hardest-working athletes on the team.
I work hard year-round on my conditioning and training. I have placed in every event for my track season and am working hard to set a school record. Not only am I working hard athletically I am working extremely hard academically. In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a good GPA. I am taking courses at my local college participating in the CCP Program, I take honors courses at my High School and have made the principal's List every nine weeks. I participate in the Staying Clean Club, Chy-Phy Club, and The Wilderness Explorers Club as well as volunteer at the local Daily Bread Center. I am a member of the Varsity Track and Field team, Varsity Golf team and I am currently on the Junior Varsity Volleyball team.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself both academically and athletically. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match with outstanding competition. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and to make my family and community proud.
