Hannah Kersten '24 Recruiting Profile

Running has been my passion for several years now. Although my participation in a vigorous running career did not begin until my sophomore year of high school, I believe that my growth will continue throughout my college experience. My progression began when I was self-training the months before I joined my high school's varsity Cross Country and Track programs. I am extremely self-motivated, as my love for this sport alone fuels my training. I am responsible, diligent, and hard working. I want to succeed in running while creating a healthy environment among my teammates and coaches. Aside from running, I do recreational dance at Perrysburg Dance Academy, a local dance studio. I have been dancing for many years now, and the addition of running in my life has allowed me to find balance between the sport I want to pursue as well as dance. I am willing to challenge myself with a school containing both academic and athletic vigor in order to grow into the best version of myself.
