I have high aspirations for myself: 1.) Get a college degree and 2.) Compete in track for the remainder of my high school years along with competing in collegiate track. I really enjoy high jump. It has been my number one event since seventh grade - most likely because it is a difficult skill to learn and I have no fear. Ever since I was young my mom has said that I like to be backward and upside down more than anything. I also enjoy long jump and recently started triple jump (third meet during individual winter conditioning) and that is also an interesting event. Although running is not my forte, my coach entered me in a few 200m dashes and I ran very well. What I have discovered about myself is that I like to compete in individual events and have that competitive edge mentality in me to try my best, but I really enjoy to be part of the team. I consider myself as a team player and I always support my track teammates.
