I first started doing track when I was in 7th grade, but never did I think I would succeed as much as I have been these past 2 years. Without the help from my parents, coaches and fellow team mates it would have not been possible. I have always dreamed about playing a sport in college, but I could never figure out which sport I would like to play. After these past 4 years I have put a lot of thought into which sport I would like to continue playing in my collegiate years and I believe track would be of my best benefit. I think I would be able to excel at track in college more than any other sport. I hope to get a scholarship with a team that has a very positive and fun mindset about everything because i believe when team mates are constantly cheering you on, that is what makes people push themselves to do better. I love to cheer people on and push people to work harder because the only way you're going to get better is if you work as hard as you possibly can 100% of the time. If you are not pushing yourself to get better then what is the point of even playing? But of course with all the sports, you have to have room for academics. Academics has always been an important aspect of my schooling career. I work on and off the track. I believe being on sports teams is a privilege of getting good grades and being responsible. If you are not of these aspects you don't deserve the privilege. I hope you have liked what you read and feel free to contact me at anytime. ([email protected])
