When I would think about going to college as a child, I would think about going to Vet school. I never thought about what would get me there. I found out that Pole Vault existed a little over 2 years ago. I just thought it would be a little hobby or just another event to do. Then it became my "thing" and I am now in love with the sport. Pole vault and academics is what I want to use to get into college on a scholarship. I would love for it to be my future. It has absorbed my life. The love of it took me to win runner up at the State Track meet and take me to the Meet of Champions my freshman year. My sophomore year was a different story. My first indoor season was amazing. I went to 4 indoor meets and placed in all 4, while getting my new PR of 10'8. Then the outdoor season started and I wasn't able to finish it how I wanted cause of an injury, but I am ready to come back better than ever. My motivation and dedication makes me different. I am willing to do whatever to make my dreams a reality and become the best version of myself. I have a great personality and am very welcoming and helpful when it comes to my fellow competitors and teammates. My athletic career has shown that I will rise to the challenge and make improvement every time. I am a fast learner and I love to hear the coaches opinions and make changes to improve.
