I am a competitor. I have always been. I played soccer from age 4 to 15. I played competitively for 7 years. I tried playing varsity soccer my freshman year but both soccer and pole vaulting were competing against each other for time so I made the difficult decision to walk away from soccer because I love pole vaulting and track. I was in USA gymnastics when I was younger and competed for 3 years. I also played softball for several years. I am currently a varsity cheerleader. I now focus all my time on cheer in the fall/winter and pole vaulting in spring during track. I have goals to compete in pole vaulting collegiately. I am currently trying to break our school record before I graduate. I have a love for competition and achieving or exceeding my goals or others expectations. I work just as hard in the classroom and maintain a 4.0 while taking AP and concurrent college courses. I am also a leader and you can see that with my three year position as the class social media chair and two years as a member of our student council. I was also inducted into the National Honor Society and am working on completing my community service requirement. I want to lead others to be great and succeed as well.
