I started off doing gymnastics at a young age, which guided me towards track and field events, specifically pole vault. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I enjoy pole vault because of the adrenaline I get as I jump.
Qualifying for OFSAA (all Ontario meet) 2 years in a row and going against some of the best girls in Canada pushed me to improve and become the best vaulter I could be. Also, being in the top 10 of Ontario (freshman and sophomore year) is one of my proudest accomplishments yet.
While being on the track team, I have experienced victory and defeat. But from that I learned dedication, hard work, sacrifice and humility. I believe I have what it takes to compete at the next level, academically and athletically. I have the passion, desire and work ethic to make an impact on your program.
