Personal Statement

My name is Emma Negri from Blenheim, Ontario, Canada. I will be entering the 11th grade at the IMG Academy in Fall 2024. I have been throwing shot and discus for 7 years and hammer and weight for 4 years.

I am an extremely determined and very hard working athlete and student. Even though I have two full seasons before starting my collegiate career, I am already looking ahead to the future and planning my path.

I want to join a team with the same values, work ethic and drive that I live by every day. As a team member I am committed to push myself and my team members to be the best athletes, students, school representatives and people we can be.

It is my dream to compete at the collegiate level in the USA and I am ready to do whatever it takes to make that dream a realty.
