Brooklyn Shanks '25 Recruiting Profile

I absolutely love being on a team. Supporting my teammates and being a leader on and off the track is something I am very passionate about. I like to cheer for them and make sure all of them succeed and know that they are worthy athletes. Running has always been a passion of mine since I was in sixth grade. I keep my gpa high while working my hardest in track and cross country. I show up to every single practice and do extra training to better myself as an athlete. I am kind and humble, I listen to my coaches and help them out with anything they might need. As an athlete, I struggle a lot to see my teammates who may be better than me, so adversity is something that I like to keep in mind. Sometimes being on a team can be hard with lots of negativity, so I try my hardest to be positive and trustworthy to all of my teammates and coaches.
