My name is Elizabeth Boone and I will be a 2025 graduate of Southmoreland High School (4.0 GPA). I currently help lead our Girls Track and Field team as I participate in the events of High Jump, Triple Jump, 100m Hurdles and 300m hurdles. I also currently have been a 2 year starter for my Varsity Soccer Team and play as a Center Back with the 2007 Pittsburgh Riverhounds East Club team (#53).
In Track and Field, you will notice my accomplishments in the events of 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, triple jump, and high jump (7th place finish in the WPIAL Individual Championships as a freshman last year; 4th place finish this year; PIAA State Qualifier). My leadership abilities extend beyond the classroom and in Track and Field. Over the past four years, I have served on my school’s student council in the role as Class Treasurer. Additionally, I have had success in soccer as a two year starter for my high school Varsity team and a regular starter in the backfield of my cup soccer team for multiple years. On these teams, I am proud of my ability to communicate with my teammates as I help anchor a strong defensive backfield, as well as my abilities to advance the ball down the field in any throw-in situation that arises, and take free kicks for offensive chances.
I'm very interested in schools that not only have the athletic program I am looking for, but also the academic program that aligns with my career pathway, Mechanical Engineering. I look forward to learning more about your school and program in the coming months.
