My collegiate goals begin with attending a nationally recognized college or university with a strong program for criminal justice and criminology studies, while simultaneously having a need for a pole vaulting superstar such as myself. I aspire to become a criminal investigator, specializing in their Special Victims Unit, helping the local District Attorney gather evidence and prosecute cases. I am a determined, heavily motivated young woman that goes above and beyond what is asked of me, no matter what the task. I accept criticism well, transferring it into fuel to push myself further and higher. I am the motivational backbone of every team I join, be it Track or Cheer, and am beyond a “team player”, knowing very well the importance of supporting and encouraging my entire team and coaching staff. I was raised in a household as the youngest of 5 sisters, which helped mold me into the bold, expressive, leader that I am, always determined to stand out, constantly having to fight for my place and to be heard. I began school at 4 years old, so being younger than most everywhere I go has always given me the feel of strength in youth and a fresh attitude to enjoy it. A year may not matter to most, but to me, along with my petite stature, I always get slung in as the little sister/mascot, which works well since I’m almost always the loudest. I try very hard in school, being enrolled in West Allegheny High School and Robert Morris University simultaneously, while participating in year-round Competitive Cheer (qualifying for nationals) along with Winter and Spring Track programs (improving my PR by almost foot each year since 7th grade). I am frequently chosen as team leader in group projects at school because of my strong leadership tendencies and my peer’s knowledge that I never leave a project unfinished. I have learned that a team of any kind is only as strong as its weakest link, and so am continuously evaluating and assisting my teammates and fellow students in anyway I can. Next school year, I will be enrolled as a full-time student in Community College of Allegheny County while completing my Senior year so when I graduate, I will have completed the credits for my freshman year of college. I plan on staying in college until I complete my Master’s Degree.
