Chelsea Hartman '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Chelsea Hartman, a senior from Shady Side Academy located in Fox Chapel, PA. I aspire to find a college that supports my desires to test my limits athletically while leaving my pre-med ambitions un-compromised. I'm also looking for more than a college with athletic and academic prestige; I hope to find a team that functions like a 2nd family: one that holds each other accountable, that celebrates the success of its teammates, and at the end of the day, forms life-long bonds. At Shady Side, I've been vocal about the building-up of our XC/TF programs, encouraging the academy to initiate an indoor season, and, as an upperclassman and team captain, utilizing my pre-season time to introduce myself to new teammates. I work hard during and outside of practice and I aim to lead by example. I'm excited to find a team that shares in my values and love for the sport!
