Hi, my name is Lucy Anthony. I started to run my eighth-grade year. I run both cross country and track. I have made so many memories and friends from running that I want to continue to run in college. Over the years I have been working hard to get better and better. I am very lucky to have the coaches I do that have lead me to be on a 3-time district champ team.
I am a distance runner and love to take on as many miles as I can. I run and train for cross country and track year round. I am a team leader and encourage everyone to keep improving. I am very hardworking and always strive to keep moving forward.
In school, I pay attention in class and use any free time to get my school work done. I participate in the Spanish Club, Foreign Day Committee, DECA, prom committee, and The National Honor Society. I also volunteer at my church and Elk Haven nursing home.
I would like to go to a college that challenges me on the track but also in the classroom. I am open to all options so I can find the right college for me. I would love to compete at the highest level of competition as possible. I hope to be a great role model and to continue to be a positive impact.
