Isabella Furgison '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Isabella and I started playing sports since the moment I started walking! I started out playing basketball, then in 7th grade I joined the field hockey team. I fell in love and played my 8th grade  year and started varsity freshman year as the goalie. Then my gym teacher who is the throwing coach said I should come out for throwing. So in the winter of my freshman year I started weight lifting with the team and went to 2 indoor meets where I threw the shot put. I placed in the top 10 overall. I loved it so much and wanted to stay there and throw. I realized that this is what I wanted to do in college. I don’t believe in quitting so I work as hard as I can everyday to get better at all 3 throws. I will forever be in love with this sport and I can’t wait to see where God will take me!
