In college I plan on majoring in biology. I want to study DNA and learn how to study and use it to identify either people, diseases, or conditions a person may have. I am second in my class with a 100.41 GPA, attending college classes at Bloomsburg and Susquehanna Universities, a member of National Honors Society, and historian for my junior class. I plan on making my education my first priority and following closely behind, my love for track and field. I'm a great candidate for your team because I am a leader, I have a strong work ethic, and I work to be the best version of myself that I can be at all times. I'm different from other recruits because I work hard to help others learn how to better themselves as athletes, which leads to myself discovering new techniques or small adjustments I can make to improve myself as an athlete. I don't wait for my coaches to reach out to me to train, I reach out to them, seeking guidance to improve my performance. I also take classes at Vaultworx in Harrisburg, PA. This past year, my junior track season, I was the top point scorer on my team as well as MVP, I broke the school record for pole vault, and I placed second in pole vault and triple jump in my district meet. I progressively improved throughout my entire season and wish to keep improving. To prepare for my senior year, I have been training multiple days a week and have been working on becoming a heptathlete in extension to being a multi. I hope after reading this you will consider me as a potential candidate for your track team.
