I have been participating in sports since a very young age, so I understand the importance of being a team player and I am very coachable. I also have a lot of experience with being a leader. I am committed to improving myself and my teammates. I want to push myself to be the best athlete and student. In addition, I am a reliable teammate and will work hard at everything I do.
I have participated in track for all of high school, and I want to continue to play at the college level. I am currently a jumper and a thrower, but i have competed in running events in the past. At practice I make sure I preform to the best of my ability, while also encouraging my teammates. I also train on my own time to focus more on my weaknessess
In the classroom, I work hard in all of my classes. I make sure to maintain good grades and enroll in rigorous courses. I participate in many extracurriculars in school. I am a part of Impact Foundation, which provides students in our school district with necessary items to preform well in school. These items could be clothing, hygiene products, or even mattresses. I am also a part of student government and Link Crew (peer leadership). I am a member of the National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society. I am able to maintain a good GPA while running track, playing high level club soccer, participating in extracurriculars, and involving myself in the community. I have very good time management skills.
I want to attend a college that will push me academically and athletically.
