Personal Statement
I have been running track since I was in 7th grade. I always knew I was runner, but I never thought that I'd become so good at it. I hope to go to school for track because, I get to do something that I not only love, but I get to be myself. But I also love track because I get to connect with people in a different way. I get to know people that love doing the same thing as me. I feel like I'm different because some athletes feel like it's all about sports, but I don't feel that way. I'm a student athlete, so being a student comes before being an athlete. So I'll always work to make sports and my academics work.
