Emma Curtis '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Emma Curtis! I’m going into my junior year at Loudon High School. I currently hold my school’s 800m record of 2 min and 37 secs, and I am 3 inches short of our high-jump record, which is 5:2. I’m very coachable and look forward to improving throughout the rest of my high school, college, and potentially professional career. I’m also very driven to succeed by my own ambitions and goals. However, I also seek to completely glorify God. He has given me my abilities and I intend to use them to glorify Him in all that I do. Furthermore, I entirely agree with what Sydney McLaughlin proclaimed after setting her 50.68 second, women’s 400m hurdle world record in 2022; “Records come and go, the glory of God is eternal.” Looking forward to furthering my track career!
