I became involved in track at age 7 when my parents signed me up for Knoxville Youth Athletics. I started out recreational and after a few years I realized I wanted to take it to the next level. Around that time is when I truly became interested in the sport. Through track and field I have learned about discipline, organization, team leadership, and that ice makes everything feel a little bit better. My collegiate aspirations are to attend a university where academics are prioritized, to become faster and stronger to generate new personal bests, and to continue to develop and thrive as a person.
