Teresa Moreno '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Teresa Moreno and I am a Track and Field thrower at Robert Vela High School in Edinburg, Texas. I am currently a three-tear Varsity member, and I compete in shotput, discus, and will be learning the hammer throw this year. Summer 2019, I began training for this sport to get better since there is always room for improvement.  This summer I competed with San Juan Parks & Rec in Summer track and made it to state at College Station. My biggest asset is that I am a team player who focuses both in the ring and in the classroom. I am currently top 25% of my class with a 3.9 GPA and 21 ACT. I would like to major in Psychology BS. I feel that my devotion and mentality is the key to my success making me different from other athletes. I am always willing to put forth my all by devoting myself to this sport. I always try to give my one hundred and ten percent before,during and after any practice or meet. If you choose me to be an athlete and be a part of your team at the collegiate level, I can guarantee you I will put in my all to perform at the very best of my ability.
