Personal Statement
I guess you could say I started running competitively a little later compared to others. Being a multisport athlete most of my life, volleyball, softball, powerlifting, and running, I decided to focus on one sport going into my Junior year in high school. I am glad I did.
I had dedicated hours of training. Listening to constructive feedback from my coaches and teammates. I have come to the realization that running is living art. It is unique to everyone and everyone has their journey.
I hope to use my talents in a post-secondary setting while gaining a Bachelor's degree. Although, I am still undecided for my major I am hoping to explore my options and make a decision my freshman year in college.
