Personal Statement
My name is Ashley Bell, a senior at Seven Lakes High School in Katy, TX. I have been running cross country for 3 years and track for 4 years. My main events are the 1600m, 3200m, and 5k. I've run for two different teams (in California and Texas) and both teams have qualified for the State Cross Country Meet. I made the All-Area Second Team in track junior year and the All-State Academic Team in cross country my senior year.
Although I have started the recruiting process late, I would still like to run cross country in college. I am open to any division and would prefer a school in Texas or California. I'm interested in graphic design, film, communications/media, advertising, or health/nutrition, although I am still a bit undecided. I would like to run for a school where I can contribute to the team's success as well as further improve my times.
