Hi, there. My name is Camille. I am 18 and a senior. I am aspiring to run hurdles in college. The truth is, that I love the sport. I love the precision and technical aspects of hurdling. I love the crazy hard work involved and the consistent pushing of my body to new limits. Likewise, I love competing. I've always been competitive (True story- I sometimes have to sit out at my youth group on game nights because apparently I'm "too aggressive," whatever that means...)
Aside form these naturaul inclinations, I love being a part of a team and supporting my fellow runners. Respecting and encouraging my teamamtes is a priviledge that I do not take lightly. I have respect for my coaches as well and dont take for granted the sacrifices they make and their comitment to their athletes. Truly, I enjoy my coaches. I enjoy my teammates. I enjoy practice and the weight room and the camaraderie that comes form working hard together for a common goal. I do not always cross the finish line first, but neither do I cross it without leaving everything I have on the track behind me.
