I am highly self motivated and come to work hard at every practice. I have learned a lot about my body and how it needs to be worked so that I can achieve personal bests. When it comes to character, I believe that it is important to be good so that good can prevail. I also believe that the greatest enemy of "great" is "good". When it comes to my education, school is of the highest priority. I may not be naturally the smartest student in the class but I certainly outwork everyone therefore pushing even the smartest to work harder. These same characteristics carryover to my running. I love learning new things and have had some very inspirational coaches and teachers who have shaped me as a person. I would very much like to be able to have that same impact when I become a teacher and possibly a coach. I believe that success is an attitude. You must be honest and true to yourself and never give up. With this attitude, there is no limit to the goals you can achieve.
