Personal Statement
My name is Isabel Breaux. I am a junior at Longview high school. This is my first year to run cross country, but I have been running track for a few years. My favorite event is the 1600m and I have grown to love the 3200m. I run the 5k in cross country and it has really pushed me to appreciate the mile.
My personal records are:
800m run (2:18.5)
1600m run (5:14.05)
3200m run (11:47
5k xc (18:49)
It is my goal to run for a collegiate level team.
I am very determined to push myself in not just track, but academics as well. Academics are very important to me. I am in search of a school of excellence where I can obtain an undergraduate’s degree in business/accounting, as I work to prepare for accounting and law school.
I have committed to Ouachita Baptist University! Go tigers!!!
