I am a good candidate for your team because I am hardworking and put 100% into everything I do. I am the Klein Oak Girls Cross Country Team Captain and strive to lead my team with a caring spirit and push them to reach their potential so that we can be the best team we can be. I am different from other recruits in academics because I put an equal amount of time and effort into academics and athletics, for I know that to be successful you must work hard in and out of the classroom. I am different in athletics because even when I win a race I always seek to be better and work harder than before to PR in my next race. Running has given me the opportunity to be a great leader to my teammates, to persevere through tough times, and to be patient because reaching my potential will not come easy or quickly.
