Personal Statement

I have always known I wanted to compete in either volleyball or track and field at the collegiate level. I began speaking with coaches about volleyball, but my real passion is with track and field. I am extremely competitive in everything that I do. I was not naturally blessed with athleticism, but throughout my life I have worked so hard and developed a very athletic body and also a quick athletic mind. I not only put in all work required to succeed in athletics, but academics are VERY important. I was taught never to put off homework so that I would have time to train.
