Lauren Montgomery...Personal Statement
I have a great self-motivation and dedication to what I do. Excellence in academics and athletics has been my primary focus in high school. I began high jumping as a sophomore. Last year I took third place at state. I was also awarded top jumper on my high school track team. This year my goal is to win state and beat my school high jump record of 5'07". I am also an honor roll student with a 3.97 GPA . That single A- in English still bothers me. I am also the president of the Poetry Club, was a member of the Math Team, and was on the Model United Nations team. During all of this time I held a job and was able to save enough money to pay for a trip to Europe which I plan to take at the end of my senior year. I look forward to jumping in college!
