2022 Highlights I’ve always been an active person that enjoyed playing just about any sport (mainly volleyball) and doing anything outdoors. When we moved to Utah in the summer of my sophomore year, I decided to give cross country a try before I tried out for volleyball. Needless to say, I never ended up trying out for volleyball as I found a passion that I didn’t know existed when I would lace up my running shoes and go. I’ve since participated in cross country and track (primarily 800 and 1600). Why did I get so hung up on running? That’s a great question…I think it has to do with the ability to be in charge of your results given your determination, drive, and ability to dig deep. I hope to continue my adventures in cross country and track through high school and hope to have the opportunity to extend this into my college years.
Academically, I remain determined, driven and devoted. I hold a 3.88 GPA while taking honors and AP classes. I serve on my schools National Honors Society. My goal is to attend a college that challenges me both academically and athletically. I hope to continue to improve and grow as a strong athlete in high school and hopefully in college.
