The great part of my life has been lived in another country, and the first thing that I have learned is school and English. My career in track and field or Cross Country began when I was only eleven years old.At that time I came in 3rd in a two mile race for my first ever competition. I never imagined my efforts would results in a 3rd place win. Throughout my racing events, even when I was very tired, my motivation to win kept me going. I did not have the opportunity to qualify for the Region Championship during my freshman and sophomore year, and I learned that it would not be easy to get where I wanted; that inspired me to keep going. During my Junior year I had the opportunity to win 2nd and 3rd place in Region Championship in Track and Field. Recently, in my senior year I earned Cross Country top 10 for regional Championship. I made it to State Championship in both sports.
Throughout my years in the sport, I learned the importance of teamwork and discipline. Everytime that I or my team lost a race or a game, that’s when I learned the most about sportsmanship, and how to push myself harder and be a winner. I always believe that I can push myself even farther and help my teammates push themselves. By having that friendly competition pushing each other beyond our limits, we encourage each other to grow in our sport. I’m looking for the best program that can fit me athletically and academically. I believe I have the personality, motivation, and talent to compete on a college level.
