Tamoy Douglas '27 Recruiting Profile

Winning the 100m, and 200m and participating in the victory of the 4x100m at the Cosmopolitan Track and Field Meet as an 8th grader was the highlight of my middle school career. However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete since I started high school, for the first few weeks of training. This experience has helped me grow and become more determined and led me to re-focus my efforts on becoming a 100m sprinter at the college level.

I am fortunate enough to be part of an amazing program, at Blacksburg High School, with an excellent coach. I have grown and improved so much over my few weeks of training. I wish to continue improving. I learned the value of commitment, sacrifice, and teamwork throughout my career as an athlete. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to run for a college team, but the character and work ethic skills to make a positive impact on your program.
