Marissa Martin '23 Recruiting Profile

I have always loved running.  I have been a part of the outdoor track team at Northside since I was in eighth grade and I started indoor track and cross country my sophomore year.  The 400m is my favorite event and I look forward to working to improve my times.  I am in the top 20% of my class at school and was one of only two students in my grade at Northside who attended Roanoke Valley Governor's School my Freshman through Junior years. I am currently interested in double majoring in Nutrition & Dietetics through an ACEND accredited program and in Exercise Science.  I am a highly coachable, hard-working, and dedicated student athlete.  I would love to continue running track and field through college and I believe I would be a good addition to your team.
