Hello! My name is Adeline Wallin but most people call me Addy! I have been running from a very young age starting with the Girls on the Run program, then moving to middle school XC & track, and now running XC, indoor, and outdoor track for my high school. I have been on the girl’s varsity cross country team all 4 years of high school and have competed at regionals every year. This year I was lucky enough to qualify for the state cross country meet! For track, I primarily run long distance but I also like to do some mid distance to mix it up and give my body more recovery time during weeks when we have back to back meets. I usually run the 4x8 and the 2 mile but when we have back to back meets I’ll run the 1 mile instead of the 2 mile. Another event I really really really enjoy is steeplechase!!!!! I have only competed in steeplechase once because there aren’t many in the area but it was soo much fun and I’d really like the opportunity to do it again! I’d also like to add that this winter I decided to double my sports and be apart of the swim team and indoor track team during the same season. I have been swimming since I was very little and wasn’t ready to give it up yet. I even competed at the state swim meet this year!
I have verbally committed to run cross country and track at the University of Mary Washington.
