Hello I am Nyah Harrison, and I have been running track since the 6th grade. I have been blessed to have a pretty successful track career thus far. When I was in the 8th grade I placed sixth overall in the 400m at the Indoor Junior Olympics in Maryland. My freshman year of indoor high school track has equally been successful as I qualified for state in the 300m, 500m, 4x2mr,and 4x4mr. At state as a freshman I took second place overall in the 500m with a time of 1:15 and our 4x4mr team finished third overall. I also qualified to participate in NYC at Indoor New Balance Nationals where I was slated to run in 400m, 4x4mixed relay ,4x4mr, and 4x2mr but due to Covid-19 we were unable to go. Milesplit also did a article that stated I was a freshman that had the chance to when the outdoor 400m in state as a freshman , but once again due to Covid-19 we didn't have a season. I am a 5a State Champion in the 400m and 2x in the 4x400. I also placed 3rd in the 200m in State. I am a very even keeled person with a very competitive edge who loves to run track. I am becoming the leader of my high school track team and loved to be coached. My goal is to break my high school track records in multiple events which include 400m, 300m, 500m. I have also set a goal for myself to compete in track at the College level.
