Hi! Thank you for looking at my profile! In college, I hope to run for a program that is competitive with a supportive atmosphere on and off the track. I am determined to reach my full potential as a runner by trusting myself and my coach. I take my academics seriously and I enjoy learning. As a student, I make sure to balance my schoolwork and sports.
I joined cross country freshman year for community and conditioning. I improved greatly sophomore year which motivated me for the next season, but COVID-19 hit. As for the spring season, I have struggled choosing between track and lacrosse for many years; I was able to complete my 3rd year on varsity lacrosse while running my first track season this past Spring 2021 season. Doing both sports at the same time made me realize that although I love lacrosse, my future is with track and I am fully committed to running.
This fall, I plan on making podium at my conference championship and being competitive at state. In the spring, I plan on going sub 5:30 for the 1600m and a sub 2:20 for the 800m.
