Isabelle Jones '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Isabelle Jones. I am an avid runner and love both track and field as well as cross country. I am very dedicated, as due to Covid limiting my junior year season, I continued to PR in my mile times and distance. As for my most important accomplishments, I was a varsity runner on my cross country and track team freshmen and sophomore year. I ran at districts both years and was the only distance track runner for the girl’s team at districts. In addition, during my freshman year I earned the “Rookie of the Year” award for my varsity track season. I also received the scholar-athlete award in both my cross country and track seasons for my high GPA and varsity placement. What I can offer to a team is perseverance and diligence. I am very motivated with my training and enjoy learning new techniques from my coaches. Being a student-athlete is important to me as well, I take pride in my grades and efforts in the classroom and am well-rounded. My goals are to continue my running into college at a highly competitive level, while also staying above average in the classroom. I value my running very much and having the opportunity to continue it after high school is my aspiration.
