Hello, my name is Ruby Danielson. I am a senior at Timberline High School in Lacey, Washington. I realized that I wanted to run at a collegiate level during my sophomore season, when I began running cross country(and had already ran track for 4 years). I had a few setbacks with injuries, which made me want to improve even more. I have pushed myself a lot in the past year, working on form, mental and physical strength, speed, and nutrition. I am excited about my senior season and have been training along with weight lifting through this summer to stay conditioned. I have a positive attitude and have taught myself how to see the bright side of any bad situation, which has helped me improve many areas of my life. I connect with my teammates easily, and always encourage their hopes. I have a 3.74 GPA currently, and am enrolled in four AP and honors classes.
