In middle school I was an avid Sports Player. When I became a freshman in high school, I thought that I had to choose between Sports and Academics. I chose my Academics, but as the years went on I realized that I can achieve both excellent Academic marks as well as spend the time in Track. With my absence of playing sports since middle school, when I started back up, I thought I would have to would have to work excruciatingly hard to work back to where I used to be, but that wasn't the case. The moment I started running again, I bounced back and pushed past what my goals were. I work hard to excel at what I enjoy doing. When I began Track again, it showed because I made it to Districts. I am ambitious in my academic goals as much as I am in my sports goals. I do not give up.
