Personal Statement

Hello!

Thank you for taking you time out of your day to look at my profile. I am a sophomore in high school who runs cross country and track. I love running. It sometimes is very calming. I want to run in college because it is an achievement. Secondly, I want to go as far as I can with it and continue to improve.  I have been running since age nine doing the Marmat March in Spokane, Washington, and then a 12k race called Bloomsday that that I finished in  1 hour and 10 minutes around age 10.

I am a good candidate for your team because I am a leader and have goals that will get me where you want me to be in the future.  Every race I have a new goal or thing I want to work on to get better and to get the outcome I want.

What makes me different than other recruits is my integrity and willingness to be the best I can be. When I get corrected on something I work on it until I am doing it well and still try to get better after that.  I also have a high GPA am taking 2 higher-level classes. With this, I am still working on getting my grade up in a class to improve that GPA.  I also have been a captain of my basketball team and softball team which helped me learn more about how to be a good leader.

-Paige

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
