Personal Statement
My name is Rommie Shumate and I have always wanted to continue my athletics in college, whether it be for track or acro and tumbling, because I have a history in not just track but tumbling as well. I have always loved putting in the work and making sure my grades are good to be able to pursue the multiple sports I do. I put In a lot of effort to become better everyday, and I’m constantly staying focused on where my head should be at. And it’s either on the track or on the mat. Since I do come from a smaller school the recruiting process I knew would be harder for me personally but I’m not gonna let that get in the way of my personal passions for continuing sports at the higher level!
