I have been running since summer of 2017. What sparked my love for running was the first 5k I ever did in early June of 2017. Ever since then I realized how much I really love running. In August 2017 I decided to join Cross Country. Then after the 2017 season, I love running even more. I have also learned how to be a team player, team motivator, supportive teammate, and how to balance family, friends, athletics, and academics of which are all very important to me.
Throughout my life, one thing that has influenced me has been the confidence that my athletic coaches have had on me. Another thing that has influenced me to be who I am, would be that I am very active. As I am always and have been that one friend or family member who would never be sitting down. I am always doing something: as in either camping, boating, swimming, skiing, hiking, and/or ice skating.
Goals are very important to me. I see goals as the main key to everyday life success. Some of my goals for high school are: maintaining and keeping good grades (at least a 3.5 GPA). Another one of my goals is to be better in my running ability. Striving to get faster and stronger will play a big part in this goal of getting better. In college one of my big goals is to find a college that suits my needs in helping me be successful in athletics and academics. Another big goal of mine is aspiring to compete at the collegiate level in which I strive to do.
