I have been a part of Track and Field since 6th grade. I joined Track and Field because when I was little, my mom would always watch me run around at the park and told me I should try it once I moved up to middle school. She has always gone to meets for me, and when I would give up, she would cheer me up and make me a stronger athlete. With her help, I am now capable of being a very positive, upbringing person. Ever since my freshman year I have had my eyes set on finding a good college where I can continue my passion for being a track athlete. I have many goals in which I have made for my track and field career. The top goal I made for myself was to never give up and try my absolute best. I know that things will not always go the way I would like them to be, but with determination and positive thinking, I can set myself up for success. I am a good candidate for college Track because I am a fast learner, and a good listener. I started my pole vault career sophomore year, and by the end of Junior year I was at 9ft. Without these two skills, I would not be where I am. I am up to many challenges, and I feel like Track and Field will be perfect for what I am seeking in my future college endeavors.
