Sarah Guilford '20 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was a child, my dream has always been to play volleyball at the collegiate level and become a dermatologist. I know in order to pursue this dream, I will have to work hard and give 110%. This will be exceedingly challenging but I fully believe that anything is possible through hard work, dedication, and a positive mindset. I have been honored to be chosen for the First Team All-State, All-Tournament Team, but what I am most proud of is for winning a volleyball State Championship for the first time ever in my school history this past season. I also have played club volleyball for three seasons now, and have played beach volleyball one season. I am not only dedicated on the court but in the classroom as well. I am a straight A’ student taking honors classes, and during the summer I had enrolled in college classes located at the local Junior College in my town. I am the Junior Class President, Vice President of FCCLA, Student Council Representative, Secretary of FCA, and in Senior Beta Club. I will continue to work and train hard throughout the rest of my high school time to pursue this dream of mine.
