Isabella Brown '21 Recruiting Profile

As a freshman in college, I've been able to gain experience as a college athlete as well as a student. Due to unfortunate complications during the heat of COVID, I was unable to consider various other colleges. Even though I enjoyed my freshman season, I believe a better match for my skill set is out there. I take my job as a DS/Libero very seriously. My role is to connect everyone - the hitter's territory is above the net, and my job is to make sure they can be there at 100% of their ability, and go up with the confidence that I will be there to cover them. I will, without fail, get the ball back to our teammates, no matter how many times it hits a block or makes it through ours. I've always been an extremely coachable player and I use criticism as fuel to improve. I'm a playmaker in the most crucial moments. For every team I've been on, I've been able to get to balls that no one believed were playable. I've always been willing to put my body on the line in order to recover a play. I've also always had the ability to mesh with y teammates, no matter how different we may be off the court. Playing volleyball in college has been my dream since I was in middle school, and I believe I have the ability to play at a higher level.
