Hello coaches, my name Keely McGriff, but my friends call me Keely-Marie. Currently I am attending Northview High school, and in the 9th grade. I have been playing volleyball for about 4 years now, and have been on a team for 3 years. My dad played on a men's team when he got older and coached so I have been around it my whole life. This sport has let me gain friends that have become my sisters, and only a few of us want to college for it but I am all for it. This is the only sport I play so this is all year long for me, all of my focus is for this. The only thing is I have knee issues, but I have braces for them also I have exercises I do from my physical therapist so it's under control. My coach has me mainly as a hitter, defensive specialty player, and sometimes setter when something isn't going right with the play. My grades are straight A's, and I am in two clubs Key club also Junior Civitan but I know how to time manage well. With being on a team I am a good leader when the team needs one, and I will listen to people when they try to help me with something. I would like to become a civil engineer because my grandfather was one and vice president at a local engineering business in our town.
