Serina Petersen '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to make a big difference for a college volleyball team--as a competitive player and encouraging teammate. I've been playing volleyball since I was 9 and am a leader in practice and in games. I work hard and love good kills and blocks and even back row digs and serves. I have a lot of energy and lift my teammates up. I want to play in college because the sport has been such a big part of my development in high school. It's given me strength, skills, best friends and leadership opportunities. I think the sport and team culture will continue to shape me in college. Team leader in blocks and aces, despite being out for six matches with a sprained ankle. 2022 JVA watch list; 2021 and 2022 7A All-Area team, 2021 all-region honorable mention. Multiple media mentions in Al.com throughout seasons.
